“This was when I worked for Element in 2003. Bam, his gf Jen at the time, Chris Pontius and I drove from Zurich to Barcelona with a stop at Marseille to skate the park….this was shot the day after the war in Iraq started. We had a real hard time finding a hotel room in France the night prior, ended up driving further south until someone would rent us a room then when we got settled and turned on the television the US was bombing Baghdad. If anyone remembers, NATO did Not want the US to go to war with Iraq and France and Germany were at odds with our government at the time over this fact. Was a strange time to be in Europe for sure. “
