“One of my favourite things about Mike Manzoori’s skating is how natural it is. He’d be doing that anyway, whether he was being documented or not. At the same time, he’s kind of a photographer’s dream, because he just wants to land everything. His ATM part, from 1995 – although there’s footage in there from as far back as 1992 – has him in London and California, just killing everything, from spots you’d know to places nobody else has touched. Like the Fastlands double set in Birmingham, England.
